We at Ajinomoto OmniChem are developing a range of natural specialities suited for nutraceutical and functional foods markets.

Our current range of products is structured around anti-oxidants, and more specifically polyphenols, with a focus on grape seed extracts and cocoa polyphenols (OmniVin & OmniCoa).

Grape Seed Extract is widely used as ingredients for supplements supporting the cardiovascular system and are considered being (partially) responsible for the so-called French Paradox.

OmniCoa, cocoa polyphenols extracted from unique cocoa beans, shows a number of valuable health benefits including cardiovascular health, brain function, immune system, ageing and even certain cancers.

We also developed and are manufacturing Ultra-Serin (phosphatidylserine), a phospholipid that occurs naturally in the organs such as brain, liver and kidneys. Scientific evidence is suggesting that supplementation of phosphatidylserine in elderly people can improve brain function and could reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction or dementia.
