Ajinomoto OmniChem is a Belgian company belonging to the Ajinomoto group - world leader in amino acids. Ajinomoto OmniChem consists of 2 divisions: OmniChem and AminoScience.

OmniChem division is divided into 3 business units: Pharmaceutical Fine Chemicals (PFC's), Tensiofix and NaturalSpecialities.

The OmniChem NaturalSpecialities Business Unit was initiated more than 60 years ago, and is specialized in extraction and purification of botanicals. Today we are one of the leading polyphenol producers in the world.

Since 1947 we have gained a wide and strong expertise in the extraction and purification of botanicals and fermentation derived products.

Our activities our structured around three main pillars:

Contract manufacturing: we perform contract extraction of botanicals and fermentation broths for major players of the industry.

Manufacturing and marketing of gallotannins.

Custom development of natural specialities: these activities cover joint product development for our customers in food, nutraceutical and cosmetics markets. Our leading products are grape seed extracts (OmniVin), cocoa polyphenols (OmniCoa) and phosphatidylserine (Ultra-Serin)
